What Alive builds, who we serve, what the EU AI Act means for you, and how to get started — without the sales gloss.
About Alive
Alive is an ESG and AI infrastructure company. We build the systems organisations need to turn ESG commitments and AI readiness requirements into operational reality — not reports, not presentations, real infrastructure that works in the business.
Both, by design. Alive Assist is our SaaS platform for ESG and AI readiness analysis. Alive ACE is our connection platform matching organisations with the right talent and partners. Where implementation support is needed, we provide it. We don't separate the thinking from the building.
Alive works with startups, scaleups, SMEs, and enterprise organisations across Europe. The common thread is not size — it's that they face real ESG or AI accountability and need infrastructure to meet it, not a slide deck.
No. Consultancies produce recommendations. Alive produces infrastructure. We use ESG and AI frameworks as the specification, then build the systems that make compliance, reporting, and readiness operational.
Relevance by Buyer Type
Yes. Regulatory requirements don't scale with headcount — the EU AI Act applies to you from day one if you develop or deploy AI systems. Starting with the right infrastructure is significantly cheaper than retrofitting it at Series B or later. Alive Assist gives startups an audit-ready foundation without the enterprise price tag.
Yes. Alive Assist is built for organisations that don't have internal ESG expertise. The platform guides the process, surfaces what matters for your sector, and produces outputs your leadership and stakeholders can act on.
Alive operates where existing tools stop: at the intersection of ESG compliance, AI readiness, and circularity. If your current stack handles reporting but not AI Act readiness, or addresses carbon but not supply chain circularity, Alive fills those gaps without replacing what's working.
ESG and AI governance are increasingly part of due diligence. Investors, acquirers, and institutional partners want to see that these are embedded in operations, not assembled in the six weeks before a data room opens. Alive builds the infrastructure so it’s there when you need it.
The EU AI Act
The EU AI Act is the world's first binding legal framework for AI systems. Enforcement begins August 2, 2026. It imposes risk classification, documentation, transparency, and compliance requirements on organisations that develop, deploy, or use AI — regardless of where they're based, if they operate in the EU market.
If you use AI tools in your operations — hiring, customer service, risk assessment, content generation — it likely applies to you. The Act covers deployers, not just developers. Alive Assist includes an AI readiness assessment that tells you exactly where you stand.
The deadline is August 2, 2026. For high-risk system operators the window is narrow. Alive Assist is designed to move fast — an organisation can complete an initial readiness assessment and have a documented compliance baseline within days, not months.
Working with Alive
Through the hub. Depending on your need, you start with Alive Assist for ESG and AI readiness, or Alive ACE if you need to find the right people to execute. Both have clear entry points on their product pages.
No. Assist operates on subscription tiers with no long-term lock-in. ACE works on a connection basis. We earn the relationship by delivering — not by making it difficult to leave.
Contact us directly. Alive works with organisations on infrastructure requirements that sit outside the standard product scope. The contact page is the right starting point.
Speed, specificity, and skin in the game. Large consultancies produce frameworks and recommendations delivered over quarters. Alive builds infrastructure that runs. We're also practitioners in the same regulatory environment our clients operate in — we don't observe it from the outside.
Yes. Alive operates out of Europe, built around the regulatory realities European organisations face — CSRD, the EU AI Act, and the EU taxonomy. We understand these frameworks because they govern us too.
Trust and Credibility
Alive Assist is built on published regulatory frameworks — the EU AI Act, CSRD, ISO standards, and the EU taxonomy. Outputs are traceable to source. We don't generate scores or ratings from proprietary black-box models.
Yes. The outputs from Alive Assist are structured for exactly that purpose — audit-ready documentation, not internal dashboards. If a specific format is required for your auditor or investor, contact us before starting.
Your data is not used to train models, shared with third parties, or used to benchmark against other clients. You own your data. Full details are in the privacy policy.
Still Not Sure
Start with the contact page and describe where you are. We'll tell you directly whether Assist, ACE, or a conversation makes more sense — and if Alive isn't the right fit, we'll say that too.
