Suppliers across three markets were quoting inconsistently with no shared standard beyond price. Cosimo built a benchmarking framework embedding sustainability criteria — material efficiency, supplier reliability, long-term risk — into every sourcing decision. The harder problem was finding people who could apply it without constant oversight. That gap between process and execution became the founding logic of Alive Ace.

Terminals, agencies, and headquarters were working from different data. EDI entries were inconsistent, handovers were breaking down, and no one at the centre could see where. Cosimo audited both European hubs, identified where data was degrading at source, and rebuilt input standards and communication protocols. Coordination recovered because the data did. Alive Assist is built on the same principle.

Sustainability & AI Standards Development

Organisations were being asked to report on sustainability and AI governance with no practical framework for doing it. Cosimo developed seven operational standards — covering GRI, circular economy, AI efficiency, green data, and ethical governance — into a single self-assessment tool. Presented at industry forums and adopted across sectors. No equivalent open-source framework existed then. None does now. Alive Standards is its direct successor.

Critical Infrastructure Logistics — Multi-Site Delivery

Seven concurrent projects across Europe with clear processes and defined responsibilities — but execution was breaking down anyway. The right stakeholders weren't being engaged at the right moments, so decisions stalled and handovers slipped. Cosimo rebuilt the engagement rhythm across sites and the delivery caught up. Alive Assist applies the same logic: identifying which frameworks a company is behind on and which stakeholders need to be active to close each gap.
