EU AI Act: prohibited practices and the AI literacy duty already apply. High-risk obligations apply from 2 December 2027 (Annex III) and 2 August 2028 (Annex I).

Business resilience

Business resilience, built on evidence instead of assumptions.

Resilience is the outcome. The EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and your ESG commitments are the frameworks that test it. Here is how Alive turns scattered documents into a position you can act on and show to others.

Four outcomes leadership can hold the work to.

  • See your position at a glance

A readiness view shows where evidence is strong, thin or missing, so leadership starts from facts.

  • Find vulnerabilities before others do

Gaps that could interrupt operations, funding or a procurement decision surface early, not during review.

  • Know what to do first

Actions are ranked by what each gap puts at risk, so the next quarter has a clear plan.

  • Keep evidence current and shareable

One evidence trail serves supplier due diligence, audits, funders and your own board.

How it works

Assess, analyse, act and verify, in one operating system.

Alive Assist reads your existing documentation and assesses it against the frameworks that apply. Alive Standards give your team a shared reference for what good looks like. The result is a readiness baseline, mapped evidence, a gap and risk list, and a prioritised action list. Assist analysis is automated and indicative, and supports readiness rather than legal advice.

In your sector

See what resilience looks like for legal, compliance and procurement teams.

Ten evidence-led enterprise briefs, from hydrogen and clean fuels to cybersecurity and vendor risk, show where one evidence trail could support supplier due diligence, safety documentation, AI governance and sustainability claims.

Questions people ask us about business resilience

What does business resilience mean at Alive?

We use it for an organisation’s ability to keep operating, keep its funding and keep stakeholder trust when requirements, regulation or supply conditions change. In practice it rests on three habits: knowing your position, giving every requirement an owner, and being able to show the evidence.

Is business resilience a certification?

No. It is an outcome, not a certificate. Alive supports readiness and evidence. Independent certification, for example against ISO/IEC 42001, is a separate step carried out by an accredited body.

How does it relate to the EU AI Act and ISO/IEC 42001?

The EU AI Act is law with duties that depend on your role and risk. ISO/IEC 42001 is a voluntary management-system standard that gives you a way to run the work. Both are easier to meet when your evidence is in one place, which is what resilience work builds.

Does Alive give legal advice or guarantee compliance?

No. Alive Assist analysis is automated and indicative. It does not give legal advice or guarantee compliance. Hands-on implementation is delivered only with selected business partners or experts.

Where should we start?

Share the documents that describe how your organisation operates. Alive Assist maps them to the frameworks that apply and returns a readiness baseline, a gap list and a prioritised action list.
